BAV Brick Instructions: Printed Manual or PDF for Your Set?
BAV Brick instructions come as a printed color manual with regular sets, or as a PDF that the brand sends you for MOC and custom editions. The product description tells you which one you are getting, so read it before you order or start building. This guide shows how to check, what the manuals cover, and what to do when a page, a part or the whole manual goes missing.

ToggleDoes your BAV Brick manual come on paper or as a PDF?
Read the description on the product page: regular listings advertise a printed color manual, while MOC and custom color editions state that only an electronic manual is provided.
| What to check | Printed manual | PDF manual |
|---|---|---|
| Wording on the listing | Step-by-step guide included in the package, detailed color printed paper manual | MOC version, electronic manual only, no paper manual |
| How it reaches you | Inside the parcel | BAV Brick sends the file (delivery method and timing not stated) |
| Listings that use this wording | 1:24 Audi A6, 330 pieces | 1:8 Ford Shelby GT500 custom color edition, 3,400 pieces; 1:24 Mercedes-AMG GT, 329 pieces |
| Better fit for | Builders who want paper on the bench | Builders comfortable working from a screen or printed pages |
The wording above was checked on September 24, 2026 and can change, so treat the description on your own listing as the final word. That matters because the badge row under the price is not a reliable guide. According to the BAV Brick product pages, a badge for a detailed color printed paper manual also appears on the Ford Shelby GT500 listing, right above a description that says the set has no paper manual.
MOC is the tag BAV Brick puts on these versions, and in the wider brick hobby it usually stands for my own creation, meaning a design that is not an official retail set. The tag deserves a second look rather than an assumption. The electronic-only wording was confirmed on the two listings in the table, not on every MOC-tagged title, including the 1:8 Ferrari 499P Le Mans listing.

What can you expect from BAV Brick instructions?
Regular listings promise a detailed color printed manual with parts grouped by section, and reviewers on BAV Brick’s own site mostly describe the steps as clear.
Smaller sets keep it simple. The 1:24 Audi A6 listing says a step-by-step building guide is included in the package. On larger builds, one January 2026 reviewer of a 1:8 Ferrari 499P set reported receiving the instructions in two separate books, with all steps properly indicated.
Reviewers also flag limits. One builder on the BAV Brick site says a few photos could be clearer and that some do not show every attachment point where a sub-assembly meets the main structure. When a sub-assembly is about to join the frame, compare its orientation with the finished-model photos on the product page before pressing it into place.

Can you download a BAV Brick instructions PDF?
The official BAV Brick pages reviewed for this guide show no public PDF library as of September 24, 2026, only PDFs sent to buyers of MOC and custom versions.
None of the product pages, the Contact page or the Missing Parts Form offers a manual download link. A search for the plain phrase returned brand product pages, social profiles and a video rather than a manual archive. The PDF that does exist is delivered by BAV Brick itself. The Ford Shelby GT500 listing says the brand will send the file, without stating the delivery method or timing.
If you own a regular set and want a digital copy, ask through the Contact page. Nothing on the pages reviewed promises one, so treat it as a request rather than an entitlement. Files from unofficial sites carry their own risk, because they may not match the revision of the set in your box.

What if a page, a part or the whole manual is missing?
Use the Missing Parts Form for absent pieces and the Contact page for a missing manual or PDF, then follow the steps below.
- Recheck the parts group for your current step. According to the BAV Brick FAQ, parts are machine sorted and extras are included, so a genuine shortage is described as unlikely.
- If a piece is still absent, submit the Missing Parts Form, which is linked from the Contact menu and the site footer. BAV Brick says it will arrange a replacement right away.
- If the manual is missing or the PDF has not arrived, use the message form on the Contact page or write to bavbrick@outlook.com with your order details.
- Allow for the store’s own response window. Its after-sales promise is a solution to any question within 12 hours, and one reviewer reports next-day replies on two occasions.
- If the problem is not resolved, check the return window. The product page FAQ gives 30 days after the order date or 7 days after delivery, whichever comes last.
Raise the issue as soon as you spot it, so a slow reply does not eat into the return window.

Are BAV Brick instructions friendly for first-time builders?
Reviewers describe the instructions as clear, but some say larger sets are best left to experienced builders.
Two reviewers on the BAV Brick site describe big builds as slow and demanding, one calling the size alone a real challenge even with good instructions. At the other end, the brand describes its 330-piece 1:24 Audi A6 as suitable for enthusiasts of all levels. If you have never finished a model beyond a few hundred pieces, a 1:24 set is the lower-risk way to test the manual style before committing to a 1:8 build with thousands of pieces. Experienced builders can treat the larger manuals as workable, while allowing extra time to double check each sub-assembly.
Before you order, read the manual line in the product description instead of the badge row near the price. If you want paper on the bench, pick a listing that says a printed manual is included. If a PDF-only custom edition appeals to you, decide up front whether you will build from a screen or print pages, and contact support if the file has not arrived by the time the parcel does. The BAV Brick site also says its VIP email list gives access to exclusive offers and discounts, which is worth a look before you pay full price for a large set.
